While the tributes pour in from all corners over Eric Arubayi’s passing yesterday, we relive his wife, Chinonso’s, last message to him on social media some weeks ago.
Gbedu magazine unveils that little did the make-up artist and Vlogger know that barely seven weeks later the cold hands of death would snatch away her man whom she gushed about and celebrated his love and friendship.
Celebrating Eric, the mother of one wrote:
“One love that’s all we need @ericarubayi putting a smile on others faces creating memories for this children. God bless you.”
The pair got married on December 29, 2013 and they have a son called Jayden. During their third wedding anniversary in 2016, the late Eric had posted a picture of himself, Chinonso and Jayden and wrote:
“3Years of marital bliss thankful.” (sic)
For what consolation it’s worth, Chinonso should take solace in the fact that, short as it might have turn out, theirs was a beautiful love story devoid of all the drama and scandals that plagues many celebrity couples. All the tributes so far attest to this.
There are no words to heal the present pain of the passing of a dearly loved one. Beautiful memories do help though, as they remind us of the impact of what was shared.
