This happened in the early hours of Friday the 4th of July 2014 on the ever busy Ikorodu Road. The soldier was alleged to have been by a BRT bus driver who hit the Soldier off his bike resulting in his death. In retaliation, soldiers trooped out in their numbers condoning off the scene of accident and setting ablaze any BRT bus in sight. This has caused a major gridlock on Ikorodu Road with commuters caught in the heavy traffic.
