Rio 2016 Paralympics: Team Nigeria Set To Smash Record

The Team Nigeria currently participating at the Rio Paralympics have been impressive and are set to smash their record of winning seven gold medals.
Gbedu magazine reveals that with the Sydney game been Nigeria’s most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning seven gold medals, the present crop of the country’s Paralympians may yet break the record and even surpass it going by their current momentum. Nigeria is currently on the tenth spot on the medals table having won six gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
Prior to the competition, Team Nigeria has claimed a total number of 58 medals at the Paralympic Games, winning 28 gold, 16 silver and 14 bronze medals.
The ongoing Paralympics has not been an exception, the team have won six gold medals, silver and bronze. Some even went on to smash Olympics and world records.
The Nigerian contingents at the Rio Paralympics event are currently achieving what their counterparts that competed at Rio Olympics could not do. It appears the Paralympians are not been given the much required ovation in past years but they have not relented in their efforts in making Nigeria proud.
