Queen Of Mavin Dynasty, Tiwa Savage: The Sensational Singer Per Excellence

The notable Woman Crush, who is the one and only Queen of Mavin Dynasty, Tiwatope Savage Balogun has made a great impact in the Nigerian music industry; one of the top female singers the industry has ever produced.
Gbedu magazine reveals that she was born in Nigeria but her family moved to United Kingdom when she was 11 years old and later to United States of America.
She started her music career at a young age. She did backup vocals for George Michael at the age of 16 and also lent vocals to artistes like Emma Bunton, Mary J. Blige, Blu Cantrell, etc. She has also performed on stage with artistes like Eminem, Destiny’s Child, 50 Cent and so on.
She joined her present record label, Mavin Records in 2012. Tiwa became the first African female artist to be associated with the Pepsi brand after signing an endorsement deal with them.
She got married to her producer with whom she has a cute boy, Jamil, Tunji Balogun on November 23, 2013. Although like every other marriage, theirs also suffered a little complications but what makes her our crush today is that she was determined to make her marriage with her husband work and that’s what they did.
She is indeed a role model and we hope she stays that way.
