“My 15th year Coronation anniversary is not to flaunt anything” — Olu of Itori

Akorede Akamo, the Olu of Itori, Egba land has today, March 29 floated and revealed the activities of the 15th year coronation anniversary with an interactive session with the media at his palace.

The monarch today, welcomed journalists from different outfit to unviel what the anniversary programme entails, and also to tell the world of his impact and the development he has brought to Itori town.

Oba Akamo who in his words during the interactive session with the media, revealed that the coronation is not to flaunt anything but to honour and appreciate God for the tremendious development that God; through him had brought to the town of Itori since he ascended to the throne in February 26, 2004.

“My 15th coronation anniversary is not to flaunt anything but to show appreciation to God for how far he has taken me among my subjects.

I want to specially give glory to God almighty for interpreting my mind answering my prayers. The Itori you visit today is not the the same Itori of 15 years ago, God has ensured that my vision is being matched with action with result in the physical development of the town”, the monarch said.

He then enlisted the activities that would br observed for the 15th coronation anniversary which will last till April 7.

The awesome monarch has also set to launch during the said anniversary, the ‘Kings Court (Itori Town Hall)’ for the people of Itori and launch a new book titled “Journey through time” during the grand finale on Saturday, April 6.
