Nigerian Music Star, Wizkid who officially dropped the highly anticipated video for his international collaboration with Drake titled “Come Closer“ on Friday has slammed MTV Base music channel for comparing him to D’banj, saying that they should show some respect for the legend.
Gbedu magazine reveals it all started after the music channel shared a photo of Kokomaster and Wizkid asking their fans to like for D’Banj and retweet for Wizkid.
The Sony Music International star immediately replied them that he is so disappointed in them for that tweet, So disappointed in y’all for bringing this up. After everything king Dbanj done in the game?!! Pls show respect!!
D’banj also saw the tweets and moved to quell such comparisons, expressing support at Wizkid’s accomplishment.
