Exclusive: Nigerian Music Artistes Earnings For Show Performance

Going into research of the earnings of Nigerian music artistes for show performance, Gbedu magazine has complied a list of what some of the biggest musicians in Nigeria make per concert.
There have been a few similar kinds of lists cropping up overtime on who earns the most from endorsements, or who just makes the most.
But this list purports to show how much each artist makes per show. Find below the list:
Iyanya —  Born Iyanya Mbuk, this pop singer charges from N3 million up and up to 15,000 Euros per show outside of Nigeria. (Which would explain how he can afford to offer Nicki Minaj US$300,000 for a collaboration.)
Dr Sid — This Mavin artist (who actually studied dental surgery) doesn’t perform for anything less that N3 million — and in some cases N5 million — while outside of Nigeria he makes about $20,000 per performance.
Wande Coal — The former member of Mo’Hits and MARVIN Records is still wooing fans with his beautiful love songs and unique voice. He is still raking in money as he collects from N2 milion upward for his services.
Tiwa Savage — Unarguably the most successful female musician in Nigeria today, the newly married Tiwa Balogun, who has been in the music business from the UK to the U.S then back home and doing very well depending on the gig collects between N3 to N5 million per show.
Wizkid — Known in Nigeria and around the world as a hit maker, the talented young man who is embroiled in supremacy battle with his long time friend, Davido, goes home with anything from N3 to N5 million.
Davido — Currently, David Adeleke, who is having a ball with his career, is in high demand. As a matter of fact, Davido is booked till the end of this year. The Aye crooner pockets between N5 to N7 million for local shows and between $20 to $30,000 for outside shows.
2Face — Officially, 2face takes N7 million for his efforts per show but because of his humanitarian nature, he could come down on the price depending on the show. He has done it severally on different occasions but he charges as much as $30,000 for gigs outside Nigeria.
D’banj — He may not be as big as he once was, but this Nigerian artist (who has worked with U.S. stars like Snoop Dogg and Kanye West) charges between N5-8 million. (Prior to his split with former Mo’Hits partner Don Jazzy, he charged between N7-8 million per show.)
Flavour Nabania — The popular highlife artist rakes in about N6-7 million per show, and is particularly big in French-speaking countries, making as much as N15 million elsewhere in Africa for each show, and about 15,000 euros per performance in Europe.
P Square — Twins Peter and Paul Okoye just released their Double Trouble album, and their popularity abroad means they command as much as N10 million per show in Nigeria (almost US$61,500), and as much as $200,000 outside the country.
