Gbedu magazine reveals that the Christian Middle East Watch group has organised the final event of the Balfour Declaration centenary celebrations on Tuesday at the Royal Albert Hall, in the city of London, United Kingdom; with the presence of more than 3,000 people, members of both the Jewish and Christian communities, whom Iya Adura Esther Abimbola Ajayi of the Love Of Christ Generation Church where the glory of God shines, was part of the event.
Consequently, the presence of Iya Adura Esther Abimbola Ajayi was felt much at the event with the manner she adorned her religious wear with her cap on, thereby showcasing the presence of white garment churches as part of the body of Christ through her representation at the event.
The event is named Partners In This Great Enterprise, a phrase taken from a speech which Lord Balfour himself gave to the Zionist Federation at the Royal Albert Hall in 1920, and featured, Mr Gray, a mixed Christian and Jewish line-up. That included a 300-strong Christian choir from Holland, a Christian orchestra, dancers from the Israel Folk Dance Institute, a klezmer band, and singer Tali Koren.
There were short statements from Christian leaders and dramatic sketches with professional actors, some of which showed the partnerships between Christians and Jews, both before and at the time of the Balfour Declaration. Theodor Herzl was close to the Anglican clergyman, the Rev William Hechler, while Balfour himself was a good friend of Chaim Weizmann.
